Borgas out for rest of summer

Struggling South Australia have suffered another setback with batsman Cameron Borgas to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Borgas suffered ligament damage to his right shoulder while fielding in a one-day match just before Christmas.

After further medical assessment yesterday it was decided he needed a shoulder reconstruction.

Borgas now has up to six months of rehabilitation in front of him.

Meanwhile the Redbacks have revamped their Twenty20 side for tonight's game against Queensland at the Adelaide Oval.

Paceman Shaun Tait will make his return after missing almost a month of cricket with a hamstring injury, while out-of-form batsman Callum Ferguson has been axed.

Rookies Ken Skewes, Simon Roberts and 18-year-old James Smith all come into the side.

Skipper Darren Lehmann says the new Twenty20 format has changed some of the side's training habits.

"It's a pretty aggressive game so they're in the nets trying different things along the way," he said.

"It's a good release of pressure game if you like [to] just go out and play and have a bit of fun."
