Weather hits Twenty20 Cup ties
Heavy rain played a major part in tonight's Twenty20 Cup action, three games were called off and the two remaining matches were played in atrocious conditions.

The action continues today and we will be at the County Ground, Bristol to see Gloucestershire take on Worcestershire in a south west local derby.
The other remaining game today is at Southgate in north London where Middlesex entertain Hampshire, after poor starts both sides will be looking to kick start their campaigns.
The three other games today at Trent Bridge between Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, Derbyshire vs Durham at the County Ground Derby and the Roses clash at Headingley involving Yorkshire and Lancashire have already been called off due to water logged pitches.

West Yorkshire has been deluge by heavy rain over the past couple of days and the forecast is for more rain today. The Match Umpire carried out an inspection at noon and has decided the match will not go ahead.

Torrential rain in the past two weeks saturated the ground and although the groundstaff worked wonders to make it possible to stage Saturday’s game against Lancashire, more bad weather overnight ruled out the possibility of cricket being played today.
