Mortaza Wants More From Tigers

Bangladesh vice-captain Mashrafe Mortaza has urged his team-mates to learn from their mistakes after the loss to Kenya in the World Twenty20 warm-up game in Benoni.

Bangladesh were bowled out inside 17 overs after batting first, and Kenya then successfully chased down the target of 117 runs with one ball to spare.

"It is a very disappointing result and it should serve as a warning to us that we can not let our standards drop for even one moment," Mortaza told the official website of the Bangladesh Cricket Board,

"In this form of the game a match can be lost in the blink of an eye."

Mortaza is aware Bangladesh need to improve if they want to compete with the West Indies in the first game of their World Twenty20 campaign on September 13.

"We know that we are a capable team with strong players and if everyone does his job then we can get a good result against the West Indies," he added.

"That should be our priority and we have to learn from the wrongs in this match so that we don't repeat them again."
