Hampshire to wear revolutionary kit
Hampshire unveiled a "revolutionary" new Twenty20 kit yesterday, which they help will breathe new life into their game.
According to the county's New Zealandbased kit manufacturer, Canterbury: "The new shirt uses base-layer fabric and lonx technologies to produce a stunning figurehugging garment that aids the players' performance by increasing oxygen flow to the muscles.
"Such technology has never been used on the cricket field before and the Hawks hope it will give them the edge in an ultra competitive group."
The Hampshire Hawks begin their Twenty20 campaign against the Middlesex Crusaders under the Rose Bowl floodlights on Wednesday night next week.
