Rain spoils the day for the Sabres

No play was possible in Friday's Twenty20 Cup match in Bristol, where Gloucestershire and Somerset were ending their 2008 campaigns.
The hosts, who had suffered five defeats in the competition, finished bottom of their divisional table a year after going all the way to the final.
Somerset were also playing for pride alone, having taken just eight points in nine previous matches this season.
Both teams can concentrate on the other competitions for the rest of 2008.
