Swann and Harmy get England call up
England have confirmed two changes for tonight's Stanford Super Series clash with Trinidad & Tobago, with Graeme Swann drafted in to bolster the slow bowling department.
Seamer James Anderson has been omitted from the starting line-up while paceman Steve Harmison replaces Ryan Sidebottom after illness kept him out of the opening game against Middlesex.
The addition of Nottinghamshire off-spinner Swann gives England more bowling options with the slow pace of the Coolidge pitch in Antigua making scoring difficult for the batsmen.
Kevin Pietersen bowled a full allocation of four overs with his part-time spin against Middlesex, but with Trinidad's slow bowlers again coming to the fore in Monday's victory over the English domestic champions the decision to call for Swann seemed inevitable.
A decent performance from the spinner should guarantee him a place in the starting line-up for the winner-takes-all clash with the Superstars on Saturday.
