Dynamos and Falcons suffer Riverside washout

The Durham Dynamos clash against the Derbyshire Falcons was abandoned after just 13 overs of play because of heavy rain at the Emirates Durham ICG.

Although the game got underway on time the players were forced to leave the pitch at the start of the 14th over and with no sign of the rain clearing the umpire’s abandoned the game.

Having won the toss the Falcons decided to field first allowing the Dynamos to reach 110-2 with Phil Mustard (70) top scoring for the home side.
