Afridi brands shambolic Pakistan irresponsible

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has hit out at his teammates after their shambolic 6 wicket defeat against England branding the team irresponsible.

The visitorís tour of England reached new lows after they were bowled out for just 89 in a lacklustre display which left the home side in complete control.

"The way the guys played was irresponsible, immature," said Afridi after the game.

"We were playing against England, the best team at the moment so we should be mentally very strong. If we are trying to win the game then we must be more focused."

"It was very bad. We should take more responsibility."

After 10 days of intense scrutiny by the worlds media Pakistan finally wilted under the pressure but Afridi denied the 'spot-fixing' allegations were starting to effect the teams performers.

"We are coming through a bad situation, but as professionals we should take that from our mind and focus on our cricket. They (the fans) should support us and one day we'll give them a good result."

"I have learned a lot of things from this England side. They're very united - that's what we are lacking. There is more pressure for us coming around the corner. We just need one win at this stage."
