Australia aiming for t20 World Cup revenge

Having been swept away by an all conquering England side during the Ashes; Australia will be looking to gain revenge for their t20 World Cup final defeat in the Caribbean.

England claimed their first ever ICC limited overs title thanks to a commanding 7 wicket victory over the Aussies at the Kensington Oval last May.

Australia vice-captain Tim Paine, who has already suffered at the hands of England this summer said the Aussies will be looking to kick start their summer with victory at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday night against England.

"England have certainly have been the best team recently," said Paine. "They've been playing fantastic cricket, but it's also a new era for our Twenty20 side.

"We've certainly got a good side ourselves and we don't want to let them break that world record. Then we want to start something similar ourselves," he added.

"We'll be confident going into the T20 game, but England are the current world champions and it will be a huge game."
