Miller leads Dolphins to 11 run victory

The Nashua Dolphins made it two wins out of two after an 11 run victory over the defending champions at Buffalo Park in East London.

David Miller lead the way smashing 90 runs from just 57 deliveries to help the Dolphins set the Chevrolet Warriors a run chase of 156.

Despite the fireworks from Miller; which saw him smash 8 fours and 4 sixes the Dolphins struggled with only Devon Conway (18) offering any resistantís.

Loots Bosman (11), Vaughn vs Jaarsveld (16) and Imraan Khan (12) all offer very little with the bat to leave Miller holding the innings together.

Faced with a run chase of 156 the Warriors got off to a disastrous start losing Davey Jacobs (1), Ashwell Prince (7) and Justin Kreusch (2) inside the first 6 overs.

JJ Smuts (68) and Mark Boucher (43) offered hope with a 84 run 4th wicket partnership before Boucher was bowled by Keshav Maharaj in the 16th over.

Craig Thyseen (1) quickly followed as the Dolphins held on to record victory.
