Kiwi batting collapse gifts South Africa victory
South Africa cruised to an empathic eight wicket victory against a disappointing New Zealand who were bowled out for just 86 in a one sided match at Kingsmead in Durban.
Faced with such a low run chase the South Africanís lost Richard Levi (0) and Henry Davids (20) early on but Faf du Plessis (38) and Quinton de Kock (28) ensured the home side sealed victory with 47 balls to spare.
Having won the toss New Zealand batted first and soon found themselves in trouble after a top order collapse saw them slump to just 63-6 after just 8.5 overs.
Colin Munro (23) and Doug Bracewell (21) offered some resistantís but despite their contributions with the bat a total of 86 was never going to be enough to stop South Africa from claiming victory.
