Twenty20 tickets up for grabs
Tickets for the Twenty20 Cup finals day at Edgbaston on Saturday, August 4 will go on internet sale on Wednesday morning.
Fans are urged to act fast with demand expected to be high in the wake of record-breaking ticket sales for the NatWest Series one-day internationals against West Indies and India at Edgbaston.
Finals day - last held at the ground in 2004 - promises to be full of excitement, with two semi-finals and the final played out in front of what is sure to be a full house.
The winners of the three regional groups and the best runner-up will compete in the quarter-finals - to be held on July 18 - with the victors going on to the last four.
Darren Maddy, who played a key part in Leicestershire Foxes’ triumph last season and in 2004, is keen to repeat the trick with new employers Warwickshire.
He said: “It is an exciting format of the game and my success in previous years only makes me more hungry to repeat it and bring the Twenty20 Cup home for the Bears. Watch out for us - we will be ready for battle.”
Tickets will be priced from £20-£55 and spectators can purchase a maximum of six tickets each. Initially, these are only available online by logging on to www.edgbaston.com.
Warwickshire members will enjoy a 10 per cent discount and a priority booking period until May 31.
Members can purchase their tickets by calling 0870 062 1902 or by visiting the membership office.
