Gloucestershire beat Worcestershire by nine wickets in a Twenty20 Cup match reduced by rain to 10 overs per side.

Chasing 101-7, the hosts were seen home by captain Alex Gidman's battering 34 not out as Worcestershire's fielders struggled in difficult conditions.

Hamish Marshall got Gloucestershire off to a good start before a blow on the knee forced him to retire hurt on 28.

Graeme Hick (32 off 15) top-scored for Worcestershire in an innings including two sixes and two dropped chances.
