England cut for World Cup
Managerless England have been cut for the World Cup after being drawn against the side who knocked them out of Euro 2008 in the 2010 qualifiers after Sunday's draw in Durban.
Slaven Bilic's Croatia ran out 3-2 winners at Wembley in midweek to seal England's fate and the teams will get the chance to renew acquaintances when the road to South Africa begins next autumn.
The other sides in Group Six are Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Andorra.
bet365 have reacted by cutting England from 16/1 to 12/1 for the trophy.
bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: "Punters currently have no confidence in England after having their fingers burnt against Croatia, but the draw could have been tougher and we've trimmed them into 12/1 as a result."
Hills offer 1/4 that England will get through (11/4 to fail) and make them 5/6 favourites to win their Group, and 12/1 to go on to win the tournament.
