Kolkata Knight Riders will have a new player in New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques when the next edition of the Indian premier League kicks off in April next year.

The 21-year-old middle-order batsman and right-arm seamer, Henriques has agreed to join the IPL franchise and would be signing the deal formally soon. Henriques captained the the Under-19 team during the 2006 World Cup, claiming 16 wickets and scoring 150 runs.

The Australian Institute of Sports product was included in the national ODI squad as a replacement for Andrew Symonds against Bangladesh in September but didn't get a chance to play. Earlier, New South Wales opener David Warner said is in talks with three IPL franchises to join the cash-rich Indian Twenty20 league bandwagon.

The 22-year-old Warner, who also hit a blistering unbeaten 165 against Tasmania at Hurstville Oval in Sydney last weekend, said he has been contacted by Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders and Hyderabad Deccan Chargers.

"We are talking to Delhi (Daredevils) pretty close at the moment, and Kolkata (Knight Riders) and we are hoping to talk to Deccan (Chargers) as well," Warner was quoted as saying by Australian Associated Press.
