Victorian Bushrangers and Cape Cobras, having beaten Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers respectively, begin their campaigns with two points already in their bags. With their authoritative victory over Royal challengers, the Victorian Bushrangers now have four points.

Skipper Andrew Puttick became the tournament first centurion while making an unbeaten 104 against the Otago Volts. But in Andrew McDonald, Mckay and Holland Victorian Bushrangers to have a quality attack to curtail Cobras.
