Sreesanth gets T20 call up for India
Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has been rewarded for his impressive return to international cricket by receiving a call up for India's Twenty20 squad ahead of this weeks two game series against Sri Lanka.
Sreesanth, Ashok Dinda and Ravichandran Ashwin all come into the squad as India look to add to their 1-0 series win over Sri Lanka in the recent test series.
The two game series against Sri Lanka is India's only competitive T20 games before next years Twenty20 World Cup in the West Indies and the national senior selection committee have opted to give a number youngsters on the fringes of the squad a chance to shine.
Ashwin is a promising off-spin bowler for Tamil Nadu while Dinda starred in the inaugural Indian Premier League event in 2008 and is highly regarded in state cricket playing in the Ranji Trophy for Bengal .
Gautam Gambhir returns to the T20 squad after missing the final two games of the recent Test series while bowlers Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh have both been rested.
