Pietersen will be targeted by Australia
Australia skipper Michael Clarke has picked out Kevin Pietersen as the danger man the Aussies will target in Sundayís Twenty20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval.
Despite missing Englandís victory over New Zealand in the Super Eightís when he returned to London to be at the birth of his first child Pietersen is Englandís top scorer having smashed 201 runs in the 5 games he has played.
"Kevin Pietersen coming back into form plays a huge part," said Clarke.
"He is a wonderful player in all three forms of the game. He'll be a big part of the final. If we can get him out early it will hold us in good stead," he added.
The final on Sunday marks the start of another Ashes year. The old foes clash in England during the summer in a 5 game ODI series before the Ashes start in November.
