Dragons keep alive faint quarter final hopes
The Glamorgan Dragons successfully chased down a total of 169 to claim a 5 wicket victory over the Surrey Lions at the Brit Oval.
Tom Maynard starred with the bat scoring 78 from just 43 balls to help the visitors claim an important victory which keeps their faint hopes of a place in the quarter final alive.
Maynard smashed 5 fours and 5 sixes in an impressive innings, supported by Jamie Dalrymple (28) who had moved himself down the order the pair steered the visitors to victory.
Earlier having won the toss the Lions batted first with Mark Ramprakash (63) and Stewart Walters (31) top scoring to help the home side reach 168-4.
