Outlaws bounce back with a vengeance

The Nottinghamshire Outlaws bounced back from their first defeat in this years Friends Life t20 thanks to a comprehensive 54 run victory over the Durham Dynamos at Trent Bridge.

Having won the toss, the Outlaws took control of the game early on thanks to Alex Hales and Riki Wessels who shared an opening stand of 58 which was ended by Chris Rushworth in the 6th over when he trapped Wessels (31) LBW.

Hales (67) completed a quick fire half century during a 2nd wicket stand of 72 with Adam Voges (39) who was dismissed by Liam Plunkett in the 13th over.

Although Hales quickly followed, David Hussey smashed 54 runs from just 24 deliveries to help the Outlaws record a mammoth total of 213-4 which proved a mountain to high for the Dynamos to climb.
