South Africa set Sri Lanka a run chase of 79

South Africa recorded a total of 78-4 in their rain shortened match against Sri Lanka at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota.
With rain falling throughout the afternoon the match was reduced to just seven overs a side; having won the toss Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene decided it would be better to bowl first and chase down a target.
AB de Villiers (30) and Hashim Amla (16) and Faf du Plessis (13) led the way to leave their pace attack with a total of 79 to defend in a shortened match which has been reduced to nothing more then a seven over slog.
